Easter!

God Påske!

This easter I sent the bf off to Lofoten to go down-hill skiing and, since I don't own skis, I was perfectly happy to spend my easter with my mom and cat in the city. :^)

There was grandiose plans about working on projects this holiday, but most was spent cuddling the cat, playing board games with friends and hanging out! Ah well! It was relaxing and nice, so I won't complain!

Project update: 31 Day Sketchbook

My sketchbook project that I wrote a little bit about here is trucking along. I'm not too sure about the page layout. Hopefully there will be some good feedback once I send it off to review and I can do some editing!

...and I have started mocking up the cover.

Some digital sketches!

These are actually from 2014...! I'm having trouble with the noise levels of my PC fan... it's pretty ridiculous, but I have actually contemplated buying noise canceling headgear. After intense googling about the subject there is apparently nothing I can do. :^(

Fan Friday | Dragon Age II

Since Dragon Age: Inquisition came out, I have been playing through Dragon Age: Origins and Dragon Age II to soothe the feelings of "I want to play that game!".  I have promised myself that I will wait to play the newest DA game until I save enough money for a PS4... so without much further ado: My Champion of Kirkwall (Who started an unfortunate and necessary conflict between Templars and Mages) My Warden (who saved Ferelden).

Vector illustrations for a project...!

I'm working on a fun project for myself with the help of Sandra- it's a 31 days sketchbook that can also be used as a calendar for any one month in any year! The idea is that you challenge yourself to 31 days of daily sketches or one selected month: I think the mock-up stage of the project is going well.... I hope to have it sent to the printers in the start of next month after having it reviewed!

I thought I'd share some of the small vector illustrations I've done for the explanation, intro and pages. They were pretty fun to do! I look forward to seeing it all come together!

My friend Anette has a small firm called Hanssen & De andre.

Since I've done some jobs with her and had some free time after Christmas, I did a super simple splash page so there would be something to look at on her website. I want to do something more elaborate later, but for now this will do! 

If you look through the source code as a web-coder you might have a stroke as I write code like wrote it when I was 13...! I am trying to change my div layer ways and right now I am trying to teach myself how to stack it all nicely without having to resort to pixel placement. (2015 goal...?)

I also took the liberty of listing myself on it!
